Yes, I think we should treat people as adults.
I don't think we should have to rephrase everything just to avoid hurting someone's feelings -- speak the truth, and the truth shall set you free. Make the truth dirty, and all you get is dirt.

Yes it is, people these days are just looking to be offended. It is time for people to grow up, but unfortunately we live in a society that coddles these people and even rewards this type of behavior. I am not saying screw everyone except yourself. I think you should treat everyone with respect and be courteous, but not the the extreme that you are afraid to speak your mind, or even state facts for the fear of repercussions.

i'm! Stereotypes did not upward thrust up for no reason, and too frequently distinctive human beings stay as much as them..yet nonetheless get 'indignant' each and every time somebody factors it out. easily, while you at the instant are not residing up on your stereotype, you have not any reason to be indignant. i think of all of it stems from the vanity flow, the place all of us turns into too concentrated on thoughts particularly of actuality. the different day I published a question concerning the omit u . s . pagent...and a white women wrote in (not even remotely responding to my question) and became all disillusioned that there have been no black women in the terrific class. first of all, while you at the instant are not black, you're able to not be complaining. Secondly, she could desire to have completely neglected the actuality that 0.5 of the tutor consisted of speaking approximately final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's omit u . s ....who passed off to be BLACK. additionally, if ninety 5% of the girls who run in the festival are white chicks, odds are a cracker is going to win. i actually hate while human beings attempt to drag the race card out of skinny air. in case you do not enable racism die, it in no way will. i'm bored with each and every of the whining and want human beings does not be so comfortable and upward thrust above it particularly of crying like a three-3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. I actual have had to triumph over my own stereotypes, so if i'm able to, i think of that any you could. (i became born and raised in a crimson-neck hick city, the place maximum youth became dad and mom and dropped out of school. I chosen to artwork frustrating, get sturdy grades, get right into a good college, get knowledgeable, and now I artwork for a wealth administration organization exterior of NYC and help handle portfolios for consumers between $5-$35 million in investible sources.)

Poitical correctness is a large waste of time. If you say something, and someone doesn't agree with you, that's their problem, not yours. If you offend someone, who cares? Speaking your mind and the truth is one of your rights protected by the First Amendment.
