when u look at the mirror towards the left u see the left side of your body which is the right side of the body in the reflection this is because your reflection is facing you so your left hand would be the right hand of the reflection

Because your eyes are aligned horizontally, not vertically.

Turn your head 90 degrees one way or the other, but in your mind keep "up" at the same spot on the mirror. Now, with your eyes aligned "verically" in the mirror you can see that the image is reversed up and down in the mirror, but not reversed left and right (mirror directions).

When you look in the mirror, it gives you an illusion as if your clone is standing in front of you facing towards you and copying your actions so fast that you hardly notice any time delay between them. So if some body was standing in front of you facing towards you then he/she will definitely become reverse i.e. left to right and not up and down.
