me and my boyfriend had an stupid arguement about " why people go to club" he thinks most of the people go to club is to meet some body and to..(u know..)..and that is why people dress up and go to club..as for my answer, i just like going to club to have fun.., i don't think there is something wrong with going to club with your friends even if you're in a relationship or not..and as for dressing up....because there is a dress code? and who would want to look like a crap going to club? maybe my bf is right on some parts but i don't think all people actually just go to club to meet somebody and get busy...? or is it??

Different people go to clubs with different main goal in mind. Maybe his would be to meet someone. Yours is just to be in the loud crowd and get your energy level up. As for dressing up - dressing up makes you feel better. It creates the mood. But he has a point too - if other guys come there with purpose to meet someone and get busy he's worried that you will be the subject, while they might be pretending that they are there only to have fun and be in the crowd.

depends on the person,ssome people go to clubs to pick someone up an get funky with, others go to clubs to have fun an be apart of something, dressing up is just part of going out ,you want to look nice an maybe show off a little lol

I think clubs are painfully lame and nothing more than excuse for young girls and guys to be pretend to be cool while shaking their butts and getting falling down drunk. I find a small, older bar with classic rock playing much more exciting.
Clubs are just...bleh. Nothing more than chicks dressing up like hoochies and guys trying to score.

some people go to the club to meet some body and to get busy (mostly men)thats true ..some people go to see how many people of the opposite sex will buy them a drink (mostly females)...alot of people go to the club for attention(mostly women)...but most people go to have fun ...and your right why would a person go to the club lookin dirty ?why would you be lookin dirty any where else they go

You're both right. Women like to go where they get attention, and men go where they can get (you know). Once the attention is gotten it can go from there: a drink down the pants or down go the pants.
