I live in zone 6. The plot in the back has great sunshine all morning (about 5 hours) and then has some shade produced by very tall pine tree trunks that have very few needles and branches. I would love to have a rose garden with a few climbers for the fence. Any suggestions?

Happy Rose Hunting.

I'm expecting four of the climbers in March and I'm very excited.

I have four rose bushes in a similar space, and they do fine. They don't get bushier every year, and they tend to be a bit leggy, but they bloom 3-4 times during the summer, and I've had them about 6 years now.

The only thing I can think of is knockout rose bushes. We have some between the house and few tall oak trees. They do fine.
