It is according what is important to you.
Usually HMO are cheaper, but can be little harder get a doctor appointment, cause u usually have only a short list of doc you can see.
On the other hand PPO usually have a bigger choice of doc to see, but will cost you more to see them.
I chose the PPO, cause when I'm sick last thing I want to do is wait to see a doctor. But the choice is yours.
If you can get a copy of the magazine Consumer Reports Sept07 issue it has a very good report that talks about Health Insurance. Talks about best plans, HMO and PPO.
You can either buy a copy or you can try your library ours has the consumer reports mags.

I guess it depends on where you live and what type of health you are in. With an HMO, you have to go to the HMO's doctors to be treated and have it paid for. With a PPO you can go to any doctor or hospital that is in your program and the insurance will pay. Another words it is between using HMO doctors or your pick of doctors. HMO's are usually cheaper than PPO's, but I prefer PPO's and I pay the difference.

That depends on the state you live in. If you live in NYC I say PPO, if you live in FL I say HMO. Depends on the state you live in.
