I like the name wyatt for a baby boy but a close friend used it and my fiances name is Tristen so i was thinking of combining Wyatt and Tristen together and getting Wyasten, or Wysten, the middle name would be Erik after Tristen.

How about Wynsten (variation of spelling Winston)? Made up names are unique, but theres no true meaning. Most kids talk about what their name means at one point or another in school.... Wynsten Erik is cute...

You don't necessarily have to make the name sound like a mixture of Wyatt and Tristen. Use their meanings and come up with an alternative.... Wyatt means "brave, strong" & Tristen means "tumult, storm." So, other similar names could be Baldwin, Conrad, Cort & Dustin (brave names) or Bronte, Molan, Nevada, Raiden & Thor (storm names)...

Use Tristen Erik. Don't combine 2 names into 1 weird one.

who cares if your friend used it. Everyone is different. If you like Wyatt, use it. My sister in law and I both want the same name... so I say, go for it. Wyatt Tristen is a great name!

No, sorry. They are not good at all.

If you love the name, it's a friend not a relative. Just use it. Wyatt Tristen sounds nice.

It sounds too much like a medication or something like it. Stick with Tristen...it's still a unique name and you get to honor your husband.

Wysten?

I'm not trying to be mean, but that sounds like "Wasted". That will be hard to spell and pronounce, and confusing for you child. And to be honest, it doesn't sound very good.

Who cares that your friend named their child 'Wyatt'? I had a close friend with the same name as I have, and I just called her by her first and middle names to tell us apart.

For your child's sake, stick with a more conventional name.

Best wishes for you and your family!

Wyatt is a horrible name to begin with. Tristen is great so why don't you just name the kid after daddy? Or name it Erik?Wysten? WTF???
