How hard is it? The wall I need would be about 4' high at its highest point, down to @ 2' (it will be @ 12' long). Could we tackle this ourselves and save $$$ ????

You can do it yourself. The first level is the most important. It needs to be as level as possible .Use ashort level and add or remove dirt underneth to level the bottom row. I Fyou run into a place where you have to raise the first layer make sure you raise the block 1 block high to match your next row. The next row should sit half way on the bottom two blocks. Then just add each layer. YOU MAY HAVE TO CUT A FEW BLOCKS USING a hammer and chisel. TAP A LINE ACROSS THE BLOCK WHERE YOU WANT IT ,THEN FOLLOWING THE MARKER LIN CONTINUALLY STRIKE HARDER UNTIL THE BLOCK BREAKS. t4
