I have used ebay for years to buy and sell items and only once have been scammed. I bought a Sims pets game for my daughter it was advertised as English and the picture was of a English copy. Received it a week later and it was a Portuguese copy, so couldn't understand a word of the manual. Contacted the person who sold me it and he basically did not want to know so I left him negative feed back.

yes! bought a hoover, and as soon as i plugged it in, it blew up, and set on fire.Got my money back though.
