My son plays Jr high Fb, he is 5'6" 140 lbs, 5.1 40yd, benches 160lbs, squats 230lbs these are 7th grade year stats, he's very aggressive and has heart for the game. He plays both sides of the ball every game, LB, and FB&TB never sits out, voted MVP in 7th grade, 8th grade starting up, I know hes going to get bigger and faster, but what stats should he work on to have a chance to make it to college FB, he's also an A&B student. Thanks for your help

Send a game tape to evey college he would like to go to. Work on his 40 time. for a running back he should be in the mid 4s on that. Also work on his Lower body a lot, Squats and Power Cleans. These are going to help him be faster. By the time he gets to high school if he is good enough colleges will notice him, but sometimes it does take extra effort by sending game tapes. My school sent tapes to colleges for athletes to help the out.

kid looks good , especially at linebacker.but don't get too excited because every body else in the video looked horrible. as he progresses he's gonna run into better talent and wont dominate like he was in you're video. he needs to keep working on fundamentals , the ability and nose for the ball are definitely there. good luck and hopefully he sticks with it.

just make sure you bring a video camer to his high school games, if he makes good plays then great make a high-light real and send them to the ten collages hed like to play for, some of then will send out a scout, if not then its still good for good old memories, but most high school and collage players have a highlite reel for openiing the door to the next level

you cant tell from 7th grade stats. If he wants to go pro, make him be really good. You can go to state tournaments too. NCAA fotball is hard to get into

I'd say yes but you never know what other talent is out there.
