I ovulated the other day, I new I was because I had pains. If I had sex the day after I ovulate, can I still get pregnant?

Not likely. Once the egg is released it lives for 6-24 hours with about 12 hours being average. And it takes the sperm a few hours after ejaculation to swim into the fallopian tubes. So, most likely, the egg was already dead by the point the sperm got to the tubes.

You can get pregnant anytime, but if it was more than 24 hours after ovulation, the chances are unlikely. The egg only live 12-24 hours after ovulation, in general. However, there are always those rare exceptions.

It is always a possibility since after the egg releases it can live for up to 24 hours.

yes.. as ova has 24 hours of life...within which time a sperm should fertilize it.
