That was the baby moving. In the beginning that's what it feels like...a bubbly butterfuly feeling. It doesn't have to be in the same spot every time. Babies do move a lot when they're in your tummy. You'll notice it more as the baby grows.

Bubbly feelings can be the baby. Especially if you know it isn't "just gas". At 15 weeks, you'll be feeling the baby below the belly button. This can be on the right side, left side or smack in the middle. Enjoy the flutters. And... don't be nervous at this stage if you don't notice him for a day or two. Since this little one is just a few inches long, it's easy for him to flip over and kick towards your back where there is less sensitivity for you - the mama!
(Just wanted to add, the kicks were never bad or painful with my son! It all depends on where they are aiming as they get bigger!)
H&H 9 months!

You should be feeling the baby move by now. You are right, the feeling is a slight butterfly type feeling that you will notice when you are at rest. You will feel these movements in different spots, as the baby moves around in the uterus. This is a very exciting time, when you begin to feel these first little movements!

I felt my baby move around 17 weeks. Before that it felt like someone was shooting marbles in my belly lol. He was all over the place!!! One second one spot, two min later he would be on the other side!! I would think you are feeling the "flutters". Trust me when they kick or punch you, you will know!! My boyfriend makes fun of me all the time cuz I will lay on the couch with my hands on my belly and just wait for him to move!! Its a blessing. Good luck!!!

That was my experience a bubbly butterfly feeling when I first felt my first baby move. I was with my grandmother at the time and it's a special memory for me.
You can feel your baby at any point within the uterus. It will not always be at the same point.

That feeling is probably the baby, I think is feels like someone lightly tickling you from the inside. The feeling can be almost anywhere. The baby is quite small so some of what you are feeling could be the body stretching and making room for the uterus to expand... Goodluck.

Chances are that was him/her moving. They are so small at that stage they move all around, so its not always in the same spot. Somersaults, flips, you name it. Its going on in there.

you probably did feel your baby. it's not like it's going to stay in one place. it would be nice if they were calm while in there but trust me it will get worse as it gets bigger. congratulations
