How could he do America any good by visiting Chavez? Penn is just showing his disdain for the Bush Administration while allowing himself to be used for propaganda. I think he'll live to regret his visit.

The liberals just don't get it do they? There seems to be a real big deficiency in the mind department that they go seek out the enemy and snuggle up to them like Sean Penn did! He has got to be the liberals icon! And then they blame the president for all the bad press this country gets!!!

I would say the latter. And by the way, does anyone care about Sean Penn's opinion?

Chavez is hardly an enemy of the U.S., and, as JFK said upon occasion to his inner circle, winning the hearts and minds of socialist based nations would do us, and them, some good. Penn takes himself way too seriously politically, but, makes great movies!
