I think dishwashers are stupid and encourage people to be unnecessarily lazy. My new place has a built-in dishwasher, and we still wash the dishes by hand.
Although I must admit to using it twice, don't tell

There is nothing posh about owning a dishwasher, they save time,they hygienically wash and dry your dishes, and they are environmentally friendly.

I just moved into my house a month ago and it has a dishwasher! I was sooo glad b/c I haven't had one in about 5 years and I absolutely hate washing dishes

i've got a dishwasher and i'm no where near posh, i just have a large family and dishes by hand is a nightmare. the only time i wash dishes is when i'm camping!

I have one, I use it every 3 days, jus a rinse in between, its much more economical and ecologically sound than washing every meal time at the sink. It also means the kitchen always looks tidy!!
