If so what should be done to them? And why do YOU consider them treasonous? This is not my personal opinion, just curious as to what you think.

No, because I know the correct definition of treason and it is not simply disagreeing with the republicans.

We have strict laws in this country as to what a person must do to be considered a traitor. Note the word "do". A person must actually take action against the federal government to be brought up on charges of treason. This is not Iran or the old Soviet Union; we do not charge people with treason because they speak out against the way our country is being run.

Long live the Consitution of the United States of America.

Raising awareness? Are you serious? Michael Moore fails miserably at raising awareness because he has to resort to false claims and misrepresentations to prove his points. Look at Bowling For Columbine when he had to cut together three different speeches given by Charlton Heston at three different times just to get the man to say what he wanted to represent, context be damned. (The proof is right there on tape; Heston is wearing three different ties during the "same" speech. How can we take anything this man says as truth?

Then there's Sean Penn. Why should he enjoy all the freedoms and benefits of being an American, something that has made his own fame and fortune possible, when he does nothing but ***** about America alongside America's sworn enemies?

Raising awareness? Get a clue, man. You're scary. I'd fight to the death for your right to have an opinion and to express it, but think a little bit about what gives you that right. Please.

I desire greater Libs have been as extensive as Michael Moore. are you able to think of what share bullets you could fire into all that flab? it may be like taking photos a walrus. Harry Belafonte is a blithering fool. he's one in each and every of those pampered human beings so out of touch with actuality that no person has the middle to tell him the reality. i think of he has a sprint bit psychological retardation now... according to risk a small stroke or something. That lazy cow Cindi Sheehan, who made policemen carry her from demonstrations could be rigidity fed until she weights 350 kilos, and then shipped to Iran. we could get our funds's properly worth out of her. Sean Penn is so scrawny. can no longer we in basic terms have him leap on suited of a hand grenade? What approximately having the Dixie Chicks all carry palms.... which could make an extremely extensive take care of certainly, and we could have Nancy Pelosi and Edward Kennedy flanking them. which could be like the fashionable equivalent of Hannibal making use of elephants in conflict.

It is a constitutional right to protest and petition the government, these were laid out by John Locke even before the foundation of the United States. So no, they are not traitors but merely exercising their constitutional right.

No, because I've actually read the Constitution and the federal laws the define treason.

They didn't take up arms against the US, and they didn't help anyone else take up arms against the US.

They talked to someone that many people don't like -- and that's not a crime in the US.

I despise both of their points of view, and the political harm they do to this country.

But they have the right to say what they want to say. As soon as we compromise that right, we are lost as a country.

No they're not traitors. They're merely exercising their constitutional rights to free speech by voicing their opinions.
