Well first of all, that's literally ALL he talks about. T.I. and Lil' Wayne are able to touch up on different subjects.
I don't hate him for it though. Even though I don't respect his music, I respect his hustle.

I'm not a hypocrite. I hate most rappers that can only flow about cash, bling, hoes and banging. The reason why is because I know that's not where Hip Hop came from. But a lot of people seem to be too young to remember Houdini, or songs like Self Destruction, or any of the stuff I grew up on. I grew up in the late 80s/early 90s when people were being creative with Hip Hop. People like Rakim came out and tried to ELEVATE EMCEEING in rap to a higher level.
I don't like 50's kind of rap because it doesn't take any talent to talk about who you shot, what you claim, and money you don't have. YES I KNOW 50 IS RICH, but most rappers aren't rich and never will be. But they see him and THINK that's the way to get there. So they sellout on the mic and rap about stereotypes of black people just to get a check.
So I'll give 50 his props as a BUSINESSMAN ONLY because he knows how to sell his hype.
But we can do better, and we have done better. I'd rather hear Common, Nas, Mos Def, The Roots, BlackEyed Peas, and all of that before I ever buy 1 of Curtis' albums.

If thats what you heard, then you got some stupid people talking around you. What he really is getting heat for is being a snitch. whether or not this is true, many rappers call him out on that, and you probably dont want to hear this, but the game put out a dvd where he makes very valid points. Anyway, he is very smart, at least at marketing. He knows what songs will sell, and thats another reason he is hated on. At first when he came out, he was able to sell based on his life experiences, now he is just selling on club hits and catchy hooks and beats, just like everyone else right now, makin him a sell out.

You should also tell him another why they successful is because of their business skills or of people who helped them along the way. In the world of hustling its not always what you know, its WHO you know. And according to what your friend says, hes clearly thinks that money and fame override actual talent. The fact that these guys have more money than them makes them better artists is "bull****" Its the stuff they are doing behind the music is whats giving them money. The fact that he says money makes you a God makes me laugh. Money is only a piece of paper that is given value by society. Im curious to what he say if you told him that many of their producers get the first cut of the money made off the music and videos they release. And know would be even more hilarious, if these guys he praises so much start earning less money. He start talking crap about them! How Ridiculous!

50 cent is incredibly smart, i'll give him that. but in the beginning he actually had lyrical skill (power of the dollar, guess who's back etc) but now every single song by him is about the same thing. he does have the ability to be good, it's just he has the money and he knows whatever he puts out will sell so he doesn't try like he used to.

Great question? Something i would like to know for sure aswel. I love 50, hes my favorite rapper. I love the attitude the music and his lyrics.
I think he probably has alot of hate because he just takes his lyrics to the next level. He raps about how he is like a king and "runs new york" i think people kind of get a little annoyed at that kind of thing.
Sure other rappers do it, but i dont think they do it to the same extent.
I think this is also the reason he has more fans aswel and why hes always in the news, because he has lots of haters and a F*** load of fans.
The more hate, the more money, fans and fame.
I think hes the smartest guy in the rap industry, hands down. 2007 richest rapper placed him 2nd, estimated worth at $440 Million. (Jay Z topped 1st place with over 500 Million).
Ayo Tech (she wants it) is a one million dollar vid, and it kicks a**.
50 aint guna flop at any point, this song will be very near number one id say. Straight to Bank is sick aswel.
Im predicting this album will sell over 10 million easy.
Thanks for the good question, im looking 4ward to others and what they have to say... its funny how all the haters come up with the same crap.
But yeh, hola

its not just him. all of them are wack. ti and wayne included.
im not hating on him for getting his, in fact, im not hating at all.
hating usually refers to people being jealous, and im not.
i just dont respect him. he has no lyrical content.
if YOU would just listen to other hip hop, and actually listen to the lyrics, you would understand where im coming from.
im only 16, and i admit, when i was like 11 or 12 i liked him, but as soon as i actually LISTENED to what he was saying, i was disgusted.
thats when i found out about talib, mos, common, etc.
that is when i started listening to alternative/progressive/political/jazz/hip-hop
so to answer your question, i dont hate him, i just dont respect him.

Another f'd-up point is that when he dropped Get Rich or Die Tryin' everyone bought it, 11times platinum! Y'all did'nt have a problem then! now you all say he's killing hip-hop and ****. He hasn't changed that much and thats what you use against him, that he rapsabout the same thing but whats he gonna rap about??? thats all he knows and the last time i checked when your albums goes multiple times platinum you shouldn't change the formula 2 much cuz its working!!

being a rapper doesnt require brains, technically, only a sense of rhythm and what words rhyme with other words. i dont think 50 is smart.
i dont like rap about money and women, so i dont listen to it. which means i dont listen to most of hip hop.
