I have sleep paralysis and it scares the hell out of me every time. I've actually wished for death during it because it's such a weird feeling. I wake up in the middle of the night completely paralyzed and hallucinating sounds and feelings. Sometimes I hear something yelling in my face and feel it biting me. I really though I was going to die a few times because no matter how much I wanted to move I couldn't. It lasted for atleast 30 minutes. The ironic thing is that I've never even tried any drugs.

When I was seven years old my parents rented a few rooms from an elderly couple who lived in a scenic area, a lane way led to the main highway and the house was in a heavily wooded area. I made friends with a local lad who live about half a mile down the lane way, he invited me to spend a day with him. I stayed longer than I was supposed to and it was very dark when I left for home. My friend told me to take a short cut through the woods and led me to the secret path. A full moon was in the sky and an owl was hooting, I began to feel creepy and then I heard what I thought were footsteps behind me, I slowed down and listened, the footsteps also slowed down, I felt the hair on my neck rise, I was scared. I began to walk faster but the sound of footsteps kept up with me, then I felt something warm on my neck, in terror, I turned to see what was behind me, I was staring into a white face, I screamed at the top of my lungs and began running as fast as I could, suddenly I realized what the white face was, it was a pony, the poor animal was as frightened as I was, and it ran away, too. I will never forget that moment of terror when I looked at that big white face.

The scariest thing that ever happen to me was 6 years ago it was about 4 in the morning and my 2 month old baby started crying so I went down stairs to heat her up a bottle and as I am standing there I heard a voice coming from the living room and the voice said momma, momma I was scared to death I grabbed the bottle and raced up the stairs. The next day I had told my hubby what I had heard and he then told me that his aunt who had pasted away years before she use to call her mom like that and we were living in the house that his aunt died in . That is by far the scariest thing that had ever happen and still scares me to this day.

I had 2 scary events in my life. The 1st, was a week after my father died, someone banged on my bedroom door. I got up thinking it was my cat, but my cat was sound asleep. Then I thought it was my older brother suffering from an asthma attack, but he was asleep too. I checked on my mom and younger brother and both were asleep. I quickly went back to bed. It happened again the next night and this time my mother heard it. She went around the apartment to see who was awake and everyone was asleep. A week after that happened one of my cousins passed away.

the 2nd scariest thing that has happened to me is 9/11. I am from NYC. I worked in queens and I don't drive (and still don't drive). In order for me to get home I had to walk over the tri-boro bridge. To hear the jet fighter planes fly by while walking the tri-boro bridge knowing full well that all planes were grounded freaked me out.
