Depends what they need. If they are not registered anywhere then I would ask someone close to them (parents, siblings) what they need or want. Also depends on what I can afford at the time. Something I have gotten before for someone that is starting a new houshold is corningware bakeware in french white. It is nice bakeware, it's not too expensive and it goes w/ any other colors.
