can u go to a school and be a teacher or do you have to be a sub? What other opppurtunities can i have with this?

It will also allow you to move into business and industry as a trainer, educational designer, education materials sales, etc... related to education and training.

It's a bachelor's degree, it also qualifies you for any number of professions that require a degree but don't require a specific major (sales, insurance, entry level management, administration)

You could also use that degree for entrance into a graduate program such as an MBA.

You cannot become a teacher with just a bachelors in education. You must also get your certification for the state you want to teach in. Most universities build this into the degree program, but there are usually additional certification tests you need to complete.

With only the degree you would most likely be qualified to be a substitute, but those requirements also vary by state.

As for other opportunities, it may allow you to work with the state board of education or district offices in a non-teaching position, depending on what the job is.

Talk with your college adviser and the state board of education in your state to see what their requirements for teaching are.

With a bachelors in education you become a teacher- you can be a sub if that's what you want, but most people just become teachers after they get certified and get their liscence

You can substitute or teach in a classroom with a bachelors in education and a teaching credential.
