well i decided not to go and it went away overnight.
but has anyone else had this or heard of it?

I've heard of it, it's the place where the baby is laying, it's laying on a nerve and it affects your sciatic nerve. But it is very normal, you just got it a lil' earlier than most. maybe you're further along. good luck!

I have the same problem, and have had it since around 24 weeks or so. My doctor says it is common due to swelling. Also, he said that carpal tunnel syndrome is common during pregnancy. Unfortunately there is really nothing you can do about it. I was told it will resolve itself after I give birth. I have found a little relief by icing my wrists, but its only temporary. It wakes me up 2-3 times a night with numbness and wrist pain. Sorry to tell you that you will probably continue to deal with it until the baby is born. It sucks, but that's all I can tell you. Your case may be different, but these were the answers I got from my doctor.

My doctors...OBGYN and primary care...both reacted the same, didn't seem too concerned. My OB said to see a neurologist and my primary said he wanted to monitor it to see if it continued. For me this has happened 4 times and only happens to my right side and inlcudes face, hand and arm. I also get blurred vision and diziness and am 15 weeks. I thought this would concern my doctors but it didn't at all. My primary care said it was normal and OB replied that it has nothing to do with the pregnancy but it had to at least trigger it because this has never happened and didn't ocurr in my first pregnancy at all. 2 conflicting answers which are bugging me!! I think I may go in for a 3rd opinion. The only thing my primary doctor said that made any sense was that it may pertain to blood circulation and/or blood pressure. If you find anythign out, please let me know!

It's probably the baby laying on a nerve like someone else mentioned.
I have this problem a lot but have antiphospholipid antibodies (sticky blood). My feet go numb too. Before being diagnosed w/ this, I had convinced myself I had MS.

I haven't had my hands spontaneously go numb, but I do wake up with them numb a lot more since I have been pregnant... but it goes away after a few seconds.
