I have a 1970 US Mint Proof Coin Set. Five coins are enclosed in a clear case(Kennedy .50, .25, .10, .05 and a .01). Does anyone know how much it is worth? Please cite your reference. Any free sites to check? Please advise. Thanks.

The 1970-S proof set is worth about $7.25, the so-called small date cent variety is worth about $73.00 and the 1970 with the no S dime $12,000. These values are about what a dealer would pay. On the 1970-S small date cent the 7 is even with the 9 where as on the regular cent, the top of the seven is below the top of the 9.
