I went to a little hole in the wall place that was named "Mexican Food". It was run by a little old mexican man and his grandfather. I ordered some kind of burrito plate, and took a bite. I wanted it a bit more spicey, so I asked for some hot sauce. The owner put a little bowl of brownish looking goo infront of me. I started spooning it on, and the got a bit nervous. Before I took that second bite he warned me that this was habenjero sauce. I ate every bite with a smile. His grandfather came around and clapped me on the back and told me that I was first gringo who could eat his sauce.
By the way, I really paid for it later. I felt like I was on fire in the bathroom. But it was worth it.

What don't I love? That might be easier. I guess I'll pick chicken enchiladas. There is a Mexican restaurant near us that has the best food. Homemade chips and salsa, yummy food and the best service. Mmmmmm Now you've made me want to go! :-)

I'll eat any Mexican dish but my favorites are chicken chimichangas with rice and beans.

shredded beef TAMALES with the sweet corny goodness and the spicy red-sauce oh DAYUM!
2nd is that chile relleno (done right - I ain't eatin no flat roasted pepper).
3rd - coconut deep fried ice cream - beats the hell outa flan.

i hostess at a mexican restaurant and i LOVE mexican food.
i'd say my favorite are the chicken enchiladas with our mixed rice and refried beans yumm
also love chimichangas

Mine are white chicken enchiladas, others call it sour cream chicken enchiladas, with a side of home cooked refried beans, the best!!
