Ok I have a PC computer it's a Windows XP but its always messing up. Like for example just a minute ago for no reason at all when I opened up the internet it just didn't fully load the page and started not responding so I tried to open up the windows task manager but that wouldn't open so eventually I had to just unplug my computer. This happens to me at least 2 times a week. Also the programs take forever to open. I have really good expensive virus protection on my computer and very little of the memory is being used. My other 2 PCs are just as bad as this one. But on my friends macs they go very fast and are much better then my PC. So is something wrong with all 3 of my computers or is this just normal for PCs?

The thing that is wrong, as you have already observed, is Microsoft Windows XP. It goes wrong A LOT - I know, I see it every day! Even "computer savvy" people manage to screw up computers running Windows. It is normally best to re-install Microsoft Windows every 6 months. This helps maintain stability and speed. A re-install can usually be done in just a couple of hours - far quicker than the amount of time it takes to fiddle around with registry fixers and whatnot.

Its worth investing in a copy of "Ghost". That way, right after you've installed everything fresh, you can take a disk image - ready for the next time you need to re-install.

You are not quote amount of installed memory cards (RAM) but it have to be at least 512 Mb (and 256 Mb is OK but you are limited because you can open small number of applications). Second step you have to do is:to run Disc Cleanup and delete all Temporary Files (in the table is signed wich folders you can to delete and wich is forbidden to delete) Third step is: open Accesories, then System tools, then among the banners at the top of the frame click TOOLS banner and then System file checker and proceed this operation. After this operations, if you got enough of installed memory (RAM) your PC have to work perfect. Veradisca & Best Regards, Neven.

I'm thinking the router may be the problem, since it happens going on the internet on all three systems. Then trying too much, you are locking it up. You may also have a virus, spyware or adware. Unplug your power to the router, wait 1 minute and plug it back in.

Try Ctrl + Alt + Del to enable a pop-up menu. Also Delete unused or temporary Internet files that you do not need, keep the cookies to the sites you often use. About speed try Start - Control Panel - System or Performance try your options. If it still persists try upgrading to IE-7 for free (Internet) under tools.

Macs and PC's are two different animals.

You can RESTORE windows XP computer back to factory settings, which would get rid of all your problems. This is the proper sequences to follow.

Start
Program
Accessories
System Tools
System Restore

Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm, trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com

Maybe you could try running adaware or spybot or both. Your connections might be weak--I live near the ocean and the salt air is rough on the connections.
