of course, suits are being started already, i think they are in the process of determining who all to include in it.

all who participated, directly or indirectly should be included.

I would think so, wrongful death/negligence comes to mind. I hope the city does not have a clause that excludes them from such damages.

The 1st District Appellate Court in Chicago decided that even if the allegations were true, the city has special legal immunities that protect it from such lawsuits."

I took this info straight out the newspaper of last week. I think it's a shame.

Insurance will pay then and I am sure there will be a settlement from the county or city that owns the bridge.

Of course, they do deserve some direct governmental assistance though insurance will or should indeed take care of it!

They'll file a class action law suit is my guess.

i don't think so. they may get like a public speach about how srry everyone is, but that may be it.
