Am I Weird?
I am sixteen and I have never gotten drunk, never really partied, never had a bf,never hooked up with anyone, never even been kissed. And truthfully I don't really like partying (when I have gone) and I have no wish to hook up with random guys. Is this weird?

plus my parents really trust me and i don't want to do anything to jeopardize that. I am very truthful with them. ex. i went to germany on exchange for a few weeks this summer with some kids from school who all wanted to go to the bars. I had to go with my roomate because we only had one key. I told my parents that I had tried a sip of some drinks but nothing more. Which is the truth and they completely trusted me. I think I am really lucky

your 16 and never been drunk, thank GOD! too young to drink, too young to party, dont worry about bf's they will come with time, savor your virginity and stop worrying if your weird.

No, you're sixteen. That should be considered normal, and is, it just doesn't appear that way anymore. It's a good thing you haven't gotten into that mess. Wait till you are older and fully realize what the consequences are before you do those things. Hooking up with someone at 16 is just stupid, there nothing good than can come from it. Don't let watching everyone else screw up pressure you into doing something that you could regret.

I don't consider you weird, probably because I am exactly like you. Literally, even down to the foreign country drink. Though mine was in Italy, the story has now become a kind of family joke. No worries, we just have a bit more self control than most teens

no you are not weird...you are just mature and responsible and i think thats how teens should act today
if they did there would be a lot less car accidents involving teen drunks and teen pregnancy and hiv among teens
i am a 14 year old..but i still act like this
oh and i have never been kissed either..i think we should both wait cause when it comes it'll be the best thing in the world probably

yes same thing here...im actually a year younger than you..i hate it when i see people dating and stuff...ive never dated and never really go to parties but i did get drunk once..(only once and my mum was actually there)..but still i dont want any kind of random guy either...it feels weird cos u feel like yur the only person in the world who has this problem of no experience.

No, that is not weird. You sound like a very smart young lady. Keep it up. I would be proud to call you my daughter. It takes a lot of strength to stand above the peers and not be drawn to unsavory activities. Look at Paris and Nicole. You are a role model and should consider yourself a well balanced and not at all weird girl. Congrats and keep up the good work.

no you are not even close to weird you are still young you dont have to drink or party hard to have fun there are other things you can do as for boys you will meet someone right for you they wont fly away you know you have your whole life ahead of you..as for me i c you as a responsible person and not like other teens who are out of control partying hard,having sex and other stuff...as long as you have good friends will will accept you as you are that wont be a problem

Nope, Your not weird, Just responsiable and mature. Most 16 year olds I know, have done all that and has ended up with a few regrets. Your just not into that scene.

Miraculous these days, it seems. I'm long past sweet 16, but I was like you and have never regretted my "weird" lifestyle. It helped that I had plenty of friends who all felt the same. Bet wishes, and God bless.

How good it is to hear from someone with morals, a higher purpose than partying and taking stupid chances with their health, future and life. We could surely use a lot more of you in our country and if that's weird, GREAT!!
