NRI Divorce property share.?

I am planning for a divorce in the state of NY. I tunneled some money to my NRI account in India (the joint account holder is my father). I bought a property in India on my fathers name. Will this property be taken into consideration when it comes to contested divorce.

It will be brought up, if it's in your dad's name he can't touch it I hope,.... talk to the lawyer about this. Everything will be looked at for the last four years, well that's the way it is here in IL. Mine has been in the system for two years now where is the end , I do not know but I hope next month I'll see the end
