WEST
1. Detroit (always a highly competitive team year after year and have the advantage of playing in a weaker division)
2. San Jose ( i think they will just beat the ducks for the division this year but it'll be a close race)
3. Colorado (they are gonna have a rebound season after last season's dissapointment missing the playoffs)
4. Anahiem (they'll have more points than colorado but due to seeding the division leaders 1 through 3 the ducks will have to settle for 4th)
15. Edmonton (haven't done enough to improve their team...will really see how much they miss Smyth in the first full season without him)
EAST
1. Ottawa (with buffalo losing their two top centers in briere and drury, ottawa will now be able to take over the division easily)
2. Pittsburgh (Crosby, Fleury, Malkin, Staal.....enough said)
3. Atlanta (After a disapointing first round loss in their first ever playoffs they will be hungry for more...tampa will give them a run for the division but dont have the goaltending to win it)
15. Florida (this was a toss-up between them and the islanders but florida doesnt have enough depth upfront)

I'm shocked that no one has the Islanders as their worst team in the East, yet tons of people have the Penguins and Rangers near the top.
The Isles are in the same divison as the Pens and Rangers -- and with 8 games each, the Isles are gonna be in trouble.
