Enlightenment/Mindfulness.............Conscious living here and now....Love peace, understanding and compassion............inner peace...happiness truth ...

Philosophy does not have an end it is eternal continous ever changing and all the above are Part of the big picture and meaning of Philosophy :)))))))))))))))))))))

Wealth and Fame I do not see these two things as a goal look at Socrates he did not do it for money or fame...he was a smart man....he did it for the love of knowledge and people in his immediate surroundings :)))

That's a little vague. You mean why do people study philosophy or philosophize? Why did the great philosophers do what they did?

Definitely not wealth. A search for enlightenment, knowledge, and truth are common.

Philosophers are generally people who just want to know for no other reason than to know.

That depends. Eastern philosophy seems to have always focused on enlightenment, whereas western philosophy often seeked truth and happiness. Enlightenment, however, can be both of these things, depending on your definition.

Perhaps the ends you've listed are all too narrow. Understanding is the goal of philosophy. And 'understanding' includes most of the ends you've listed above.

Happiness of course, but most wouldn't want to admit it so as it seems a banal word for a lofty goal.
At the end you want enlightenment and all other wants -not material- would be implicit.

I would have to say Enlightenment, because with that, you can achieve all of the other things.
