what does life mean to you? work or play or a happy medium?

The way I look at it, I work so that I can play. In other words, no matter how much I love my job (which I do) and no matter how much it enhances my life (which it does), I don't live to work..... as much as I work to live. It's what I gain from work that allows me time and money to spend with my kids and my friends and family in a way that allows to to go places and do things we would never get to do otherwise. So if this is a happy medium...... then that it is. Because i'm happy in both mediums...... work and play. :)

I would have to concede that I tend to think more in terms of getting things done. I believe that the ability to enjoy true leisure comes from working a plan. Nothing deep or guranteed to make you buckets of money. But SOME combination of work and Trying. So I usually have some project going, and I have fun along the way, trying to remember that life is what is going on WHILE you are making plans.
