I believe God and Jesus is real. I believe they are really there. I believe that God is more aware than people realize. Sometimes, people act like he's stupid, little do they know. But I also do not believe that I have to go to church and sit amongst a group of whiny, stuck up, gossip mongering, holier than thou wanna be 'Christians" to get into Heaven.
I believe that we all have second chances and that people, especially "Christians" capitalize on this knowledge and wind up trying to play God.
For example, "Christians believe that if you don't attend their churches, you don't get into Heaven. If you don't fit into their social lives you don't get into Heaven. Therefore everyone but them is already damned. "Christians" have this belief that they can sin repetitiously and beg for forgiveness and all is well.
God is not an idiot. He sees how mankind has church rules and then the ten commandments. He sees how whole religions place more stock in churches and the word religion than in faith. And faith is in decline rapidly. For Jesus to come back, I feel that faith would have to be almost non-existent because that's where it's headed.
I believe that God is much more aware than people realize.
Jesus cannot possibly show up soon and expect to spread the gospel and take others with him because humanity would declare him insane or a false messiah. God knows this. Mankind is not ready for Jesus and it all goes back to where it first began. Mankind altering the bible to suit his belief system not God's. People figure if they alter the bible, God will understand their reasoning and not hold it against them.
Many "Christians" are also in for a shocker too when the day comes and they aren't swept away to Heaven and are actually left behind because they chose to judge others and treat people horribly just because someone doesn't attend a pathetic man made structure.
Sorry if I ruined this for you. I was trying to make a point. However, I am not judging you. I think I answered your question. Maybe in a sideways manner, but I answered it.

Good morning.... My belief is that God created the heavens and earth. He also created man/woman but evolution finished where God left off. I also believe that God created His angels first, before man was an idea. I believe in my God but I also have an open-mind about certain issues regarding to the Holy Bible. I'm not saying that the Bible has been written falsely, I'm just saying that I leave my mind open for other views and aspects regarding to some of the Scriptures. I believe that there had to be some type of Great Force or Entity to create our earth and our universe, it just didn't create itself or by evolution. I feel that both God and evolution had a part in creating life. God is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last! Have a blessed day!

I believe that there is a supreme being, but that the beliefs in organized religion have pretty much destroyed the meaning. All believe that only they are right, and all try to push what and how they believe on the populous, Do not think that is what God had in mind. Closest to the truth in my opinion are the Native American Indians, or Shamans, the Wiccans, and the Druids in that they all worshiped a greater power

That would depend on the God you are asking about. If you are asking about the Christian/Catholic/Baptist, etc form of "God" then I would say I do not believe in him as a religious figure. As a historical figure yes. But how can a human being be worshipped when their life has so many inconsistancies? This God and his son, Jesus...Jesus was born Jewish but Christians and Jewish do not get along even though some books in the Bible start off with Jewish ceremony. You have Mary who was a prostitute that supposedly had emacculate (spelling) conception. You have a God who preaches to love thy neighbor but who is willing to cast plagues on countries who do not bow down to him. A God who will strike you dead if you do not believe in him. A God whose teachers (priests, etc) can instill harm on the most innocent (children). That is not a God. If the facts were straight and the teachings were that of a God, then I would believe.
Now as far as any other God, up to and including the Christian one, I believe that every religion is much like the others. We all search for eternal peace and happiness. Most of what we believe is primal (worshipping the land, animals and fellow humans) and is thankful for what we have, not how much we can get. I believe we all have something that determines both right and wrong (heaven and hell, the world of the living and the spirit world, etc). All religions preach a realistic punishment for defying our beliefs and that would be bad karma. (Exc: Christian-read above)
I believe that every religion has its radicals. Those who twist a perfectly good religion to fuel their greed and hatred. You have terrorists in most religions. Those willing to inflict pain on others simply because they do not like them. Every religion has a sense of ignorance or naivete. Each person who prays to a "God" or "gods" interprets some part of that religion the way they believe it is. That however can start some major issues. Ethnic cleansing, racial violence and prejudice and disputes over the land we were all born onto.
Native Americans drew blood on each other due to Christian lies and promises of money, education and health care. The Spaniards had the Conquests where they drew blood on other cultures who would not convert simply because they already had a religion. You have Islamic extremists who will fly planes into buildings, kill themselves to harm others simply because they believe that their God wants that.
In reality, every religion would be perfect if it taught tolerance. Many do. Read the Native American, Taoist, Buddhist or Confucious beliefs and you will see this. Most religions do not teach violence. They preach against it and they also preach that we should all love each other as individuals.
Hmm...there's some food for thought

God made us and loves us. The problems in this world are caused by our own free will. If we cry out to God we won't necessarily be rescued but he will walk with us through it.
