I know most will say batting practice but I think they are already doing that.

Fausto gave up 1 run and lost yesterday, and CC has lost 2 or 3 one run games because they won't get him runs.

do they send someone down? if so who?

anyother ideas?

why don't they have spell check when you write questions like they do for answers, this is not part of the question just saying I think my spelling was bad on this one.

thanks everyone good answers, I really get pissed when they swing at the first pitch all the time that bugs me especially since that is how they always tired out the pitchers, by making them throw more pitches of course.

Maybe Barfield should switch spots why did they move him to 8 back in june or whenever it was when he was hitting so good when he was at the number 2 spot.

I think they should just stop swinging blindly and just focus on making contact like Victor just started doing. You can see in Grady's, Peralta's, and Hafner's swing that they swing for a home run or a big hit. If Grady just tries to make contacthe will see his average go up to .300 and when he is on base he can be very effective. Also Hafner doesnt have to swing hard, with his power he will hit plenty of home runs and RBI's.

why don't they make hafner lead off??

dude gets on base a lot...I know sizemore is their regular leadoff guy but i think he's better off as an RBI guy...

Hafner's not hitting for power these days...since he works the pitchers why don't they make him lead off then? Hafner has a high On Base Percentage so why not put him to use

so lineup would be

DH Hafner

LF Lofton (Very good no. 2 hitter....and doesn't ground into that many double plays...also a SB threat)

CF Sizemore (guy can do it all...why not reenergize the offense and try something different and put him here)

C Victor Martinez

1B Garko
SS Peralta
3B Blake
RF Nixon/Gutierrez
2B Barfield

As I many times before said every team has thier ups and downs.

You cant expect a team to score 20 runs every game.

The Indians will be back on track just like the Tigers in no time, dont worry.

Every team hits rough patches throughout the course of a season. We're just lucky to be in first place. the division and wild card races will come down to the last game of the season, and maybe even a one game playoff.

They need to think of the forefather's of America, and get po'd that the Indians lost in near every battle! LOL!

they need to start hitting the hard on the ground, making the adjustment. how many balls we hit in the air in the infield yesterday? make the other team make hard plays on the infield, especially on the turf. things will start happening if we get that going.

I don't know why they just can't score. When there offense gets going agian and the pitching stays as it has they should take off.

they are all getting tired at the same time. They just need their second wind. The dog days of summer can be hard.
