..... my dead grass. *sigh*

It's been a long, hot summer with no rain. My lawn struggled, but lost the fight days ago. Now I have to lay it to rest in green pastures. (ironic eh?)

Any final words you could say it its honor would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We've barely had any rain all summer in Tennessee.

Where are earth are you living that it hasn't rained? I'm out in the west, in the desert, and as I look outside right now, it's raining.

I'll have to join you in that *sigh*, for being a golfer, there is nothing but sadness that flows through this body when I hear the words of grass dieing. Bowing my head in prayer...guess you could always turn it into a bunker. smile.

Most of us, have walked in light drizzles, gentle raindrops falling upon our cheeks, with lush green grass caressing our bare feet and relieving us of all stress!

Imagine the world without rain and without any of the soothing green grass.

Grass too, is one of the basic creations of Nature, that often pampers and makes our spirits soar...up, maybe, towards a rainbow in the sky! As we walk "in one of those gentle drizzles," mentioned above...

I'm sad to hear about your loss, I'm sure the green grass, will be missed dearly, but what about the other side? is it really true what they say? or was the no rain problem, a neighbourhood massacre?

that's not correct lots approximately what the corpse as quickly as became; that's all as much as teh survivors. while mum died we had a provider in the non-denominational chapel next-door to the funeral administrators. some human beings pronounced some advantageous issues; it became somewhat spacey from memory. Oh, and no one reported invisible area chappies.. lol.. cos they don't exist. ~

How come you changed your username to include "that Damn Ginger"? She might be high maintenance, but I don't think means she should be condemned to eternal damnation as a result? As far as your grass, maybe you could sell it to some of the drugged out trolls on this forum?

In Tennessee the bluegrass it doth grow;
its greedy thirst for water we all know.

With a friend like the Sun, who needeth enemies;
when westwinds bring no drops upon the breeze?

Like Lazarus, come spring t'may rise again;
cremation must be feared, in interim......

Speaking of grass...A reporter asked DIck Allen the baseball player if he liked playing a astroturf as much as grass. He said..."well if a horse don't eay it I don;t like playing on it.
And Tug Mcgraw the ballplayer said "I don't know..I never smoked Astroturf".

Oh lovely grass, once so green,
no more rain,
now seldom seen.

Bare patches and
brown spots,
wall to wall
Buk needs to start using,
the bathroom stall.

Wah, wah, wahhhhhhhh!

Enjoy your day! You have my condolences on your loss.
