I find myself humming carols just because they are nice tunes. It's never too early to sing anything if it's making you happy. It's over use of "the festive season" that gets to me! I hate seeing Christmas beginning in September. Especially as the pressure to buy gifts seems to increase every year. Have fun and sing your heart out all year round! It sounds wonderful!

The shops advertise Christmas in July so that we aren't done out of a winter festival down here... I don't see why not, providing you can cope with the top notes of "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing", But then, I'm against people singing "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing" anytime of the year if they can't manage the top notes..... *suffers from terrible feelings of inadequacy when having a go at abovementioned carol*.......

Its never to early to sing Christmas carols. You know its time to start when you hear Slades "Merry Christmas Everybody" on the radio....normally about the middle of October.

We have had floods, hail, wind, rain in bucket-loads a little bit of sun to bake yourself in so I guess singing Christmas carols can come next, along with the snow which i am sure will follow.
