Half-life means the radioactivity diminishes by 50%.

.5 = 2 days Change "2 days" to whatever time unit you are using for the decay rate, if it is nor "per day."

If per day: .5/2 = 2/2, which gives you .25/day (divide both sides by 2).

If hours: ,5/48 = 1.0% per hour.

If minutes: 2 x 24 = 48, 48 x 60 (convert days to minutes) =
2880 minutes.

.5/2880 = .0.2 % per minute
