Baseball is internationalizing more and more. Although most of the players come from a few feeder countries, Baseball is growing slowly worldwide. With MLB investment in China and MLB Europe we will sure to see more foreign players from other countries. Who would like this or being the "American pastime" we should have home grown talent playing in the majors?

MLB should continue to encourage baseball in the United States as well as in the international market. The best players in the world should continue to come to MLB where the best baseball in the world is played.

The American Dream suggests that anyone who comes to America and works hard will be rewarded. In addition, our free market economic system suggests that whoever is most productive will be the most successful. With these patriotic ideals in mind, it's unAmerican to keep out the foreign players. Besides, who would you rather see: A good player whose parents immigrated to America or an even better player who has recently moved to America? I don't know about you, but I'd rather see the more talented player.

a-rod, Manny, big papi, Vladimir Guerrero, Faust Carmona Juan Marichal, Robinson Cano, Miguel Tejada, Sammy Sosa, Ichiro, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Johan Santana, Roberto Clemente, Pedro Martinez, Ivan Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Jorge Posada, Luis Castillo, Miguel Cabrera, Francisco Liriano.

what does that means? MLB would be a boring league without foreign payers, and how you want baseball to return to the Olympics with just one country?

We should allow anyone who has the talent to play in the greatest Baseball League in the world.
BUT........................
They all need to come through the draft. The Yankees, Bo-Sox and Seattle just out-right buys all the Cuban, Dominican, and Japanese Baseball players because they do not have to come through the draft.
The MLB needs draft reform, but Yes let who ever has the talent to play in the Bigs, play in the Bigs.
