Hi honey...
Sorry (to hurt your feelings like this)..... but you really have a bad breath.
Say it quietly & in private... never in public! Then get listerine or something for him... help him along...
Sometimes, bad breath can be a sign of a problem in the mouth. Might be wise if he goes for a checkup at the dentist too.

Ask him if he wants a mint, then when he's done with it ask him if he wants another mint.
My ex was like that, he had bad breath.
But it wasn't because he didn't brush his teeth often enough because he did.
It just seems like some people get this horrible breath sometimes.
My Father in law always had it.
Then my ex, now my daughter.
I have to tell her all the time to go brush her teeth or put gum in her mouth.
It's like a "stale breath" smell.
And I remember my ex would get it within about 1/2 after brushing his teeth and using mouthwash.
I just started asking my ex if he wanted a mint or gum.
Then he would ask me if his breath was bad, and I just said "well yeah, but I didn't know how to tell you".
So then he told me to always let him know.
So sometimes it really doesn't matter how much they brush their teeth, they still will get it :{

Just be honest & tell him. He is your husband. To help with the bad breath, try buying him a mouthwash and have him rinse at least 3 times a day as well as brush his teeth. Mints/Gum can be helpful.

Hmmm....hygiene issues are always the toughest to tackle. Especially if it is someone you love and don't want to hurt their feelings. However, you definitely need to tell him because other people may be noticing the problem too.
I would suggest just being as sensitive as possible. You just need to explain to him that it is something that you have noticed and you don't want him to be embarrassed by it.
Bad breath can come from a number of sources, not just poor brushing....some involving digestive issues. I would research the topic and try to find out what might be causing it.
Above all, be encouraging and he will respond. :)
Cheers!!

Just tell him straight up. He's your husband. Say, Honey, are you feeling alright? I'm worried about you because lately your breath hasn't been that fresh and sometimes that's a sign of being sick.

Tell him straight up that he has bad breath...If he does brush his teeth and floss there may be some medical problem going on.
