I'm almost finished reading The Glorious Appearing, book 12 in the Left Behind series.
It's a series of books which fictionalises the end of the world as we know it as recorded in Revelations. And as the Glorious Appearing suggests, Jesus has just returned and is just about to kick Nicolai Carpathia (the antiChrist) in the you know wheres.
All the good guys are flying around in ATVs and hummers trying to get the best viewpoint and the Global Unity army's millions of soldiers have just been slaughtered creating a freezing river of blood five feet deep.
Of course, Nicky-boy has his TV crew on hand to put his spin on it but we all know he's going to have the ***** kicked out of him.

I'll read some of the new testament, then probably some of another book I'm reading called the 5 love languages, or something like that.

I'm on holiday and I've just finished the Disappearing Act of Esme Lennox (brilliant book) and before that was The Mystery Keepers Daughter, before that was Chinese Cinderella, and now I'm halfway through Schindlers List but it does sort of drag, I'm reading it because I've ran out of books and I'm only six days into the holiday and I've read everything else. But I will continue with Schindlers List even if it kills me!

A children's book for sure. My daughter loves books, so it will be whatever she picks out later tonight (if I remember, I'll let you know what it turns out to be).
P.S. She chose the book "Oh, The Place You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. She loves Dr. Seuss and they are fun to read because you get all tongue tied... lol Anyway, I remembered to tell you which book it was!

Just finishing off a trilogy called Runespell by Jane Welch - very good. Can't get enough of them there dragons!
