Hey hey! i was just wondering if there was anyone out there who knows how i would be able to start making my own portfolio and if anyone has any good advice on what to include which would make mine original??
pleeaase no messing about, really could do with the help! xxxxx

What I did was to include any photo taken of me in costume. Have one taken each time you are in a play. These should all be 8x10. Keep them all in a photo album and when you get more than ten, start just keeping the best and latest ones. that's what I did and mine got me a couple of jobs

Some photographers offer TFP shoots so that you can start your portfolio for free.
Most agents will charge you for making a portfolio and this can be expensive.
TFP is time for prints, you give your time and the photographer gives you prints and/or a CD. This way you both add to your portfolio for free.

Very simple, a headshot and resume!! The headshot needs to be done professionally,(walmart, school etc.) it's about 25$ and you can look "how to make an acting resume" on google. I really hope I helped.

The agent will help you with your portfolio... also, you can look at other portfolios.
