Some cities have techno/dance radio stations. I live in Phoenix and we have dance radio station called Energy 92.7FM. I guess it just depends on where you live.
My fiance bought me Sirus radio for my truck last year and it has like 4 or 5 dance/techno radio stations.
If you are interested in that kind of music maybe you should look into getting satellite radio for your home/vehicle. There are also plenty of dance/techno radio stations on the web. I guess it's just not as mainstream as rock music and other kinds of music.

It is just not really mainstream, but lots of people like Techno. I guess too it would depend on where you live or not, We live in a very rural area. So nope, no Techno here. The next large city to us does not have Techno station, but local top 40 station plays it on Sat. nights for a few hours.

Well comparred to rock/ pop/ and rap not to many people are used to hearing techno so in my opinion that is why.

You can find stations like that xm radio ... 80, 81 and 82 =)
