Jen if there is a zoo in your area most kids enjoy visiting there. Also if there are matinee shows at the theater all kids love going to watch the big screen. A little girl of 9 years old often likes helping around the house and/or cooking so you could always bake some cookies, and then she could save some for when her mom picks her up to show off to mom her cooking talents. Perhaps there is something special going on in your area for kids and if you were to call the library and/or city hall they may be able to steer you to an event. do some kind of art like beading bracelets
take her to the carnival
a painting place where you paint pottery
or go to the movies and watch an appropriate movie
it depends on her interests!!
