If anyone knows anything about baseball they would know that this question cannot have an answer until the World Series is over. Baseball is the greatest sport because of the fact that on any given day anything can happen. The greatest pitcher ever can get shelled while the worst prospect in the world could throw a perfect game. You just never know!!!! Considering the previous statements. My predictions are as follows: Yankees over the Indians in ALDS and Yankees over Mariners in ALCS as the Red Sox lose in 5 games to Seattle. National league I can see the Braves and D'backs in the NLCS but that series would be up for grabs leaning towards the Braves falling yet again to the Yankees in the World Series. I will say this though, from this point forward is the most exciting time to watch MLB.

It's a crapshoot, but at this point I really think the Angels will get hot at the right time. I know people will think I'm crazy, but I think that when they're on they're pretty unbeatable in a 7 game series between their pitching and their offense which is actually quite underrated. People don't notice because they do go cold for stretches and don't hit many home runs, but they are very good at manufaturing runs. If they go in hot the only team that I think could beat them would be the Red Sox.

If the Angel's do go in cold though I think it will be the Red Sox. They have an amazing team.

I believe the AL will win, but since a lot of people are choosing the full match-up I think the Cubs will lose to either the Angels or Red Sox as is explained above.

Its very tough this year because every team has weaknesses. The Angels don't really have protection for Vlad, the Yankees have the pitching issues, the Red Sox offense plays hide and seek, the Tigers, Mets, and Brewers are all very inconsistent. If I had to answer TODAY, I would say the Yankees, because they are hitting the cover off the ball (I know they are playing doormats, but since the All-Star break they lead the MLB in almost every offensive catagory) and in a short series they can send Wang and Pettite out twice. Close 2nd would be the Red Sox, but Ortiz and Manny need to step it up, and Drew needs to figure his swing out. Their pitching is 2nd to none, but they need to stabilize their offense to make a real playoff run. Its going to be very exciting to say the least.

Mets over Red Sox in game 5 at Shea. Ground ball under Ortiz' glove, Reyes and Wright (which rhymes with Knight) score to win the game and the series.

that statement is wrong, the Twins are only 4-1/2 out of first in the AL Central, and the Indians are winning it right now. The Cubs are barely behind, and their only problem is losing Soriano yesterday. NL west is a really close race too.

I will give you there is plenty of baseball to be played but their are some key teams missed.

Red Sox. They are the best and most balenced team in the majors. They have a great offense with Crisp,Lugo,Ortiz,Manny, Lowell, Youkalis, Drew,Pedroia, and Varitek. They also have the best pitching in baseball with Beckett, Dice-K, Schilling, Lester, and Wakefield as starters and a stacked bullpen with Julian Tavarez, Declarmen, Okijima,Gagne, and Paplebon.
