Yeah, I've been paying about $2.60 per gallon but it is still better than $3.25 like I was paying not long ago. Anyone else notice this?

Vinny - The 2178 sq. ft. cave I live in is in El Mirage, AZ. I haven't seen any valid complaints about the price of gas.....just, "It's all Bush's fault". Those I dismiss as complaints.

I wish I were paying what you are - ours is still up around $3.00 per gallon.

I think people just got use to it, and they were not going to let it slow them down, after all it is vacation time, and people still want to be able to go and do things.

Can't complain also, if you are still driving those Humvee, SUV gas guzzlers with only one occupant, but then, it is a matter of choice.

Yup, I've noticed. It's because it's old news. It was all over the news for a year or two, so everyone was complaining about it. Now that no station is reporting about prices nearly as much, no one is complaining nearly as much. You'll notice that people's complaints are directly proportional to media coverage.

ohyeah y: You're right. Although other things for you are obviously more expensive than for us, purchasing gas at 10 cents a gallon would be a dream come true, considering most American expenses go to filling up our cars.

The price of gas has decreased and it is the reason why people are not complaining.

That is the method. They raise it and people get mad. Then they lower it but not to the original price but a little higher than that. This sates people. They will keep doing it because the people are so easily fooled.

no complaints where i live, we produce oil and refine it into diesel and gas, and its super duper cheap, about 10 - 15 American cents a litre.

it's partially that the prices are going down and partially because people are growing tired of complaining.

... because the complaints fell on deaf ears ... and although we may not like it, eventually, we began to accept it

Yeah I noticed, but it's going back up as we speak.

I have noticed. I have been complaining, though. I think it hurts us when it is at a lower price.
