We are planning a long weekend trip to Hershey, PA. How many days do we need there . We have 2 children under 8. I haven't been there in almost 20 years. Advice please!

There is lots more than there was 20 years ago! You don't tour thru the candy factory anymore, but there are still tours to go on that are good! Lots of rides! I took my then 10 year old a few years ago & he loved it! We got in early the second day & he told me what ride he was going to, ran off & I caught up with him! We camped locally in a rustic cabin, so that made it cheaper. I think you will like it, but it depends on how fast you can get them from one ride to the next!
Two days sounds good!

If you're big on the rides, plan for two days. Chocolate World could kill about 2-3 hours itself, and the Park could be a full day and a half if not longer. I'm not a big ride person, so my mom and I did it in a day. If you want to venture to Lancaster County (The PA Dutch area) add another full day.

No more than a long weekend should do it. That gives you a day or two at the park, plus one day to explore the surrounding area, including Amish country nearby. The kids won't be disappointed.

I would defintely not stay there any longer than 2 days...it is expensive and unless your kids are rollercoatser freaks, then 2 days is plenty....you can do a day and a half in the park and then some time in the chocolate factory....theres not much more to do or see there...

------>Hope this helps------->

I bet one full day would do it. It's not that big. 2 days at the most!
