i dont know what your engine looks like,but if your a machanicly minded,and you have confidence in yourself i dont see why not,..you need a toque wrench,toque head bolt settings,tightening down sequence,if its a alloy head your supose to have new stretch bolts,take some pictures of the engine with your camara then print them off for when you put it back together as there's always pipes everywere,dont forget disconect the batary first both leads,get a workshop manual aswell...dont rush the job...

A head gasket replacement is a pretty major undertaking. You've got to pretty much dis-assemble the entire top of the engine, and you'll need some pretty good tools.

Do the head gasket and make sure they send it off to be checked for cracks.

Sorry best leave to a mechanic . The cylinder head will have to be straight edge checked , possible skimmed . you will need torque wrench .torque settings and much more . buy a Haynes book then decide if your up to the task . atb

if head gasket is gone there will be water in the oil it will look like mayonaise on the dipstick usually the water will blow past the rad cap as well when the engine is running

It is head gasket.It has to go into garage as its too complicated to do yourself.Theres all sorts of torque settings when replacing head.
