There is always some intrigue associated with Formula One; always.
From the annual silly season (which is now fully underway with chatter that Alonso wants out of McLaren!), to the annual bits where rules are (or are not) broken and someone is upset by the decision on that.
It has been like this as long as I've followed it (since early 80s). It's just part of the sport.

Believe it or not, the answer is yes.
Somewhere beneath the petty wrangling, Ferrari petulance, Alonso's machismo, Maclaren getting hold of documents and poor old Bernie trying to keep the peace, there are cars and drivers involved in trying to beat Lewis Hamilton.
This is called motor-sport, and the rest is just a poltical farce.

In F1 there is always something going on that we don't know about. And to be perfectly honest I'd rather not know. Politics is boring, I'm just interested in the racing.
