Definitely Legos. The selection of building materials is much more diverse than the Lincoln Logs.

Legos, then I could reconstruct/rearrange/rebuild it at anytime without messing with the whole structure.
Lincoln logs were hard to make separate rooms inside the main strucure. I wouldn't chose to live in a one room cabin.

Lincoln logs, just because I love log cabins. But could I make my furniture and cabinets out of Legos??

I'm going to have to say Lincoln Logs. Plastic could melt way too easily. Plus, I don't want holes in my feet, that would make walking around pretty awkward.
I found this company that makes "real-life" Lincoln Log homes...or at least that's what their name suggests!

Hmm ...
Legos would probably be cheaper construction material and they come in lots of colors ...
On the other hand, Lincoln Logs have that rustic charm and probably better insulation ...

legos for sure. not only are they colorfull but lincoln logs have nothing. i mean a small child could nock your house down, plus the systematics of the logs is rather boring.
