I am the product of adoption. The father who adopted me beat me and almost killed me. I still have scars twenty years later as a reminder of what he did to me. By the age of twelve I was living on the streets. I ate trash to survive and slept under bridges. I worked myself out of that deep dark hole and six years later I became a successful business manager and small business owner. I am currently writing a book about my experience and hope to share my story with the world. It is a true survival story.

Boring, but true!

I seem to be the "translator" in my household between my 18 year old son and my 47 year old husband. They each look at me when the other says something.

I am resourceful and reserved.
I am different ... and it seems many people stay away from me... because they are scared of me????
I appear to have things together... but don't.
I may have some assets... house... car... no stress...
but... i still don't have a soul mate!
I suppose that is why so many people are scared?
Because i am looking for someone... specific... to meet my needs ???? They may be intimidated by the fact i am looking for my soul mate... and they may not meet to my criteriea?
Insecure? and scared to take the chance? (i think so)

I have no cartilage in the tip of my nose! Sounds crazy but it's true. Touch the tip of your nose. It's hard from the cartilage, right? Well, mine just goes straight in. There's no cartilage! Yet it somehow LOOKS like a regular nose!
Weird, right?
