it's an opinion shared by many - but there are lots to consider when thinking of the best player in the world. He has a good touch and is a good finisher, but he has a lousy temper. There are many footballers who are excellent sportsmen, but because they are not at the biggest clubs - do ot get the recognition. C.Ronado is better in terms of skills, but he dives, Drogba is probably a better finisher. Rooney would probably go in my world XI. But i dont think he's the bst in the world.

Wayne Rooney is NOT the best player in the world right now. However, he has the potential to be the best.

Wayne Rooney is definitely one of the better players in the world now, along with Christiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, etc.

The players mentioned above can literally change the outcome of the game for their respective teams. A few years ago, it would be Zidane, Ronaldo, Luis Figo, etc.

To be the best player in the world, one must not only prove themselves on the field but off it as well and how they behave on & off the pitch.

To be critical of Wayne Rooney, he temprement is still left to be desired. He needs to mature, and not get himself into silly fights and arguments. In this sense, Christiano Ronaldo has matured because of the heckling he received throughout last season.

To answer your question again; is Rooney the best now? No. Can Rooney be the best player? Yes.

Yeah Garret is right. Wayne is a good player but, its kind of hard to be called the best when there is a better player on his team in Cristiano Ronaldo. Kaka has also demonstrated that he may also be the best footballer right now. I personally think that Kaka is the best player in football at this moment in time

Wayne Rooney is an unbelievable footballer, but he is not even the best on his team. C. Ronaldo or KaKa are the best in the world.

Being a Manchester United fan, I could easily say yes to this. But it isn't true, he is an immense talent who in 3 or 4 years may well be considered the best in the world. At the moment for sheer footballing ability it would be Kaka.

he will continually be a blues... even nevertheless he's enjoying for the reds of Manchester. A Scot will proceed to be a Scot, whether you're enjoying in England. Evertonian could be proud to have produce a participant of such high quality He only experience that Everton isn't sturdy sufficient to win any trophies, and Everton has not finished lots to persuade him to stay. he's a participant with ambition. He needs to be around suitable classification gamers, and to have opportunities enjoying against the terrific communities in the international. So while an grant got here from Manchester.. he wasted no time to settle for it.
