Starvation,as it's killing children and women every hour and minute of each day as well as millions of men.Death by starvation is extremely painful due to slow and prolonged process involved.Poverty,on the other hand is an economic state in which people though poor by some laid down measures like per capita income etc may be under fed, suffer from lack of nutrition but are not outright starving.

I would have to agree with puregold, because starvation is embodied in poverty. Countries that suffer from starvation are usally the ones that are poverty-striken. The more economically stable countries are the ones who usually take a meal for granted.

I would stop starvation. A person can't always get proper food in all locations no matter how much money they have. I would rather know that i was not dying from starvation with money in my pocket than to worry about if i had enough for that ipod and not be hungry.

why pick one or the other? i believe they go hand in hand. poverty is sometimes choosen while starvation is not unless your a model. if you help feed someone they are more likely to help others while if you show them how to avoid poverty they may keep that to themselves. the rich get richer so to speak. churches go thur this all the time.

Hmm, world starvation. Then the people wouldn't be hungry and unhealthy, and they could probalby start to fix their own poverty problems.
