I think the cons on the talk shows would be in their element. Sean Hannity was more interesting when Clinton was president than he is now trying to defend Bush's policies. I am moderate to conservative (on fiscal issues). I don't own a gun and never think violence solves anything. I do criticize, but not with a lot of venom. Obama scares me, but not because he supports or doesn't support a gay rights bill. You also need to know that a lot of black Democrats are not in favor of gay unions and I don't think such a bill gets out of Congress without their votes.

God I hope so. And after they lose--the army is made up of working class people, so are the cops for that matter, we have all those detention camps for dissenters that the Cons built to keep the POW's in.
The God and Greed coalition are anti-democracy terrorists to their very core. When the Supreme court voted the Beloved Leader into the White House in Y2K, The rest of the country accepted that he was at least better than Civil War. Turns out we were wrong.
But Busheviks have nothing going for them that's anything like real Patriotism. They're likely to try an armed revolt to stay in power. The way Republicans are talking, it looks more every day like the 82nd Airborne is going to have to drag Bush out of the Oval Office when his term expires.

I wouldn't mind a "civil union" bill but the term "marriage" is for a man and a woman.

i don't think that it will be the civil union thing that will upset the cons. i still see a lot confederate flag bumper stickers right next to the "w" stickers.
this country is still racially polarized. them ole boys couldn't take it, no sir. his skin color will bother them more than anything.
if cheney's marksmanship is any indication.....well. nra is great on killing animals, but when they shoot back....welll. if you saw that vid about that kid questioning the con college students about joining up...well, maybe they could hire some immigrants, you know the ones that bush wants to grant amnesty to.

Are you a baby? The civil conflict had many many important factors different than a sprint presidential election.besides the GOP is plenty too effective and McCain heavily isn't defeated.

While I will be upset, and may even require medical attention, Civil War is not an option.

Not a con, but maybe that is what this country needs. I just hope we don't wait too long, I'm getting older every day and want to get down before I go.

I really don't care as long as no more of my personal rights aren't taken away. Try to take my arms away, and yes, there will be a civil war.

No, of course not. Not only is this question offensive, but your premise that conservatives "see violence as a solution, and spout more venom" is pure fiction.
