A chair lift, lol sorry that is just what came into my head and goes with all those words especially if you were old and wanted to keep independance and dignity, plus it is a safe way to manage the stairs, and it is their choice

Crystals, Gems, Jewels are the objects that I would think of, but I would relate those words more to people, like a mother or father or just someone older than myself, who has more knowledge than myself!
